About
The sound
Yuksek is the French producer, DJ and songwriter Pierre-Alexandre Busson, from Reims. His work connects electronic dance music with pop and rock, an approach developed through his own records and remixes for artists including Ghostface Killah, Kaiser Chiefs, M83 and Chromeo. He also worked on the production of Birdy Nam Nam’s 2009 album Manual for Successful Rioting. His debut album Away from the Sea arrived in 2009, followed by Living on the Edge of Time in 2011. The latter foregrounded his singing as well as his production. Nous Horizon, released in 2017, brought disco and groove into collaborations with Her and Monika. His work also extends to film music and Danceodrome radio selections.
