Shamone Club
Shamone is a nightclub in Gazi with an established place in Athens’ LGBTQ+ nightlife. Its identity combines dancing with live entertainment, including drag shows and comedy, while an outdoor bar and lounge area form part of its summer setting. The programme gives each evening its own focus.
01The experience
In Gazi.
For the night ahead.
Shamone’s home is on Konstantinoupoleos in Gazi, where its nightclub identity sits alongside the area’s LGBTQ+ nightlife. Dancing is only part of its character: live shows, drag performance and comedy have also shaped the venue’s place in the city. The combination makes it worth considering for a night that includes entertainment as well as time on the dance floor.
The venue’s summer setting includes an outdoor bar and lounge area, adding a different space to the indoor club experience. Its performance-led side is an important distinction from a venue devoted only to a DJ programme. Choose the particular party or show that interests you, and let its announced format guide the evening. Shamone is a place to approach through both the night’s entertainment and its club setting, rather than assuming one musical style or show for every visit.
