What Cookies Are

KONNEKTION uses localStorage and sessionStorage for necessary website functions, including:

Essential Storage

Necessary storage remains available when you reject optional storage. It allows Saved Events to work without an account and remembers your privacy choice. Saved Events remain on this browser and device until you remove them or clear website data; they do not automatically sync to another device.

Analytics and Performance

Optional analytics remains off unless you approve Analytics in Cookies & Storage. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures public page views, event-detail views and ticket, reservation or WhatsApp click intentions. These clicks are not completed bookings or sales. Our adapter does not send form contents, search text, URL queries or fragments, external referrers, or a KONNEKTION account identifier. Google also receives technical information associated with the request, including browser and device information. Advertising features are disabled in our adapter.

The expected first-party Analytics cookies are _ga and _ga_VFEWVL34TB. While Analytics consent is granted, they use Google's default rolling expiry configuration: two years (63,072,000 seconds), renewed relative to the most recent visit. Your browser, privacy tools or deletion of website data may shorten that lifetime; two years of storage is not guaranteed. Cookie expiry does not determine how often consent is requested and is not the same as Google's user or event data retention.

You can withdraw Analytics consent through Cookie settings. This stops new analytics events and removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies from this browser. It does not automatically delete data already received by Google. For details of Google's processing, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Marketing

Optional marketing storage and external media embeds are off unless you approve them. No optional marketing pixel is active in the current launch version.
